Sells a diverse amount of products. Fruits and vegetables are almost always fresh now. Will custom cut any portion you would like when asked. Curry powders are very spicy, which isn't something you will find in other grocery stores. Drumsticks (murungaka) is amazing. Customer service is very prompt and helpful. Price is definitely reasonable, especially considering what you will get. I have no complaints.

Nice Indian supermarket. You will get most of the Indian groceries and veggies here. Even the special festive stuff is available.

Space between the aisles is very small so please avoid going with strollers as I faced a lot of difficulty to go with by baby in a stroller.

It’s a good store for fresh vegetables. The quality of lentils and other items is not so good. Ambience is ok and the store is small.

This store used to be good place for good South Asian grocery items. Lately customer service is bad and also prices are bit higher compared to other South asian stores. But you can still find a lot of South Asian grocery items. They need to improve their customer service and also on pricing to compete.

Sovereign Soul

Worst produce, dried out leafs and vegetables. Often several weeks old. Probably sourced from vendors who cannot legally sell it in brand name grocery stores. Several items priced higher than competition and for no good reason. Quality is questionable on most products. Some store helper are helpful but most of them have an attitude that does not go well with the market requirements. They have a lot of items in stock but so does the other grocery store in the same plaza. If you buy organic stuff, the mark up is way over the competition. Just for example Organic turmeric pouch is priced $1.50 higher than the other grocery store next door. And its not just the turmeric, the list is huge.

Plants price and quality is excellent, I use to buying from 2011 and never went wrong. You can find sugar cane juice. Mango and green coconut over there

Very bad service. Substandard products sold at SP IMPORTERS GROCERIES. Big hassle with returns. I have shopped here for over a year but never had such a bad experience. I bought SP Sona Massori Rice 15lbs for 12.99. The rice did not taste like Sona Masoori at all. It had a weird medicinal smell and off taste. Peanuts bought for 6.99 for 2 lbs were also very bad quality. Some were diseased brown and black and did not have the sweetness of fresh peanuts at all. The shop in charge created a fuss when I took these two products back. After much talking, they were willing to take 1 but not both. It did not make sense to me. Why should a customer lie when they have never had an issue before. Very disappointed with the overall experience. I left the store by returning the products and have decided that it is not worth shopping there!

The owner replies below saying that returns are within 5 days. With due respect, who opens dry items immediately on purchase within 5 days unless it is urgent. And runs back to your shop in 5 days in the middle of a COVID lockdown! Well, I wasn't talking about fresh green vegetables here.

In Canada, the customers are generally treated well and when you go back with genuine complaints, normally other supermarkets in the vicinity take such products back even during COVID lockdown. Probably, SP importers are trying to impose Indian or Srilankan customer service practices here. Copying and pasting some standard replies doesn't solve the problem.
