Also, I didn't even think about getting straps for my long distance move (I know, face palm) and Jonathan had some on hand that he didn't hesitate to give me to ensure my belongings arrived safe and damage free 500 miles down the road. 10/10 experience by FAR! Cap City Movers made my moving experience extremely easy. They were very responsive, super kind, and went above and beyond when they didn’t need to. It should haven taken 8+ hours and they got me all moved in within 6, which was incredible. We even made multiple stops too. Will absolutely be using them for my future move!

Capital City Movers, should not be in the moving business. We had all boxes marked, heavy, fragile, glass and this end up. I showed the crew the markings (big bold lettering) that many boxes were fragile and needed to be on top of the boxes that were heavy or large. They loaded the 26’ truck and I thought they would be careful and respect our concerns about fragile/glass items. Upon getting to our destination another company started unloading the truck and called me up into the cargo area. They said did you hire someone to load the truck and I said yes. They then showed me the extremely unprofessional loading job. Many of the most marked fragile and glass marked boxes were on the bottoms of the stacks, with heavy to very heavy boxes on top. More than half of the fragile boxes were crushed, causing damage to the items inside. I could not believe what I was seeing. It’s unknown what the extent of damage that they caused at this time. I have been documenting with photos all the boxes. Very unhappy customer. Do not hire this company if you want your belongings damaged and destroyed by incompetent movers.

I had the most pleasant experience working with Steve at CapCity Movers in Jan 2024! He was very communicative (even on weekends / late hours) and arrived early for my scheduled move on a busy Saturday…how often does that happen?!

I had a small 1-bed, 1-bath apartment and he handled my items with care taking the time to safely load the Uhaul pod and storage unit in an efficient manner while also taking the time to be cautious.

Thank you, Steve for a wonderful move and for making my life easier. I will be hiring him again in a few months for another move and would recommend him to family and friends.
